About Don Walter

Don Walter may be softly spoken but he has built a reputation for outstanding strength in cutting through red tape and leading his audit team to provide best practice audit and assurance services and advice to clients.

Don commenced Walter Allan Hall with the Allan Hall partners in 2012. He spent the previous 19 years as a partner in the firm Walter Turnbull which he established in Canberra and later expanded into Sydney. Don has worked as a chartered accountant with Deloitte and Ernst and Young and has extensive experience working with Government agencies.

Don provides audit and financial reporting services to a wide range of organisations from associations through to companies of all types, including large listed companies and Australian Financial Services License holders.

His wealth of experience enables him to provide expertise across the below main areas:

What you may not know about Don

Don owns a Jeanneau Yacht which he likes to sail with friends and family whenever he gets the chance. Some of his favourite spots are sailing around the Whitsundays, Tasmania and Noumea. Otherwise you might catch him out and about on the weekends on the shores of Pittwater.
