About Sally Rorke

With her positive outlook and caring nature, ‘Super Sal’ as she is affectionately known, is just the person you want by your side when planning for your future financial freedom in retirement.

With more than 25 years’ experience advising on all areas of superannuation, Sally heads up our self-managed superannuation team. Sally has a strong knowledge of superannuation law and a depth of experience in implementing SMSF strategy including; fund establishment, tax effective contributions, pension and estate planning, and investment structuring including the use of SMSF borrowing. Sally is also very experienced in SMSF due diligence and dealing with the ATO on rectification of compliance breaches that have occurred within an SMSF.

Sally started her career with KPMG and spent six years in audit and taxation, then worked in UK banking before joining Allan Hall in their business services division. Following that she then spent 10 years developing her expertise in self-managed superannuation with firms such as the Strategist Group, Kaplan and Espreon. She re-joined Allan Hall in 2008 to lead the Super team.

• Bachelor of Economics
• Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning)
• Chartered Accountant, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ)
• Specialist Adviser, SMSF Association

What you may not know about Sally

Sally loves to travel when she can with one of her favourite destinations being Italy.  She confesses that if she had a windfall, her dream would be to have a sabbatical around Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast to learn the language, enjoy the sunshine, drink fine wine and eat delicious freshly caught seafood!
