Northern Beaches firm celebrates 156 acts of kindness

We are incredibly proud here at Allan Hall to have just concluded our 60 Acts of Kindness initiative, which was developed as a way to celebrate Allan Hall’s 60 years of operation on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

The initiative began on the 31st of June last year and as a team we committed to the ambitious task to complete a minimum of 60 kind acts in order to give back to our clients and the community who have supported our firm throughout our 60-year history. Over the past financial year, Allan Hall staff, friends and family have banded
together to commit to as many acts as possible. We are immensely proud to announce that we have more than doubled our target with a huge 156 acts of kindness. Not only is the number a huge feat, but the diverse range of remarkable fundraising and volunteering events achieved has meant that we have been able to support many clients and groups in the community.

Just to name a few we…

  • Saved 48 lives through blood donations
  • Donated 36 bags of clothing to Northern Beaches lifeline
  • Supported 9 charities at end of months events
  • Packed 3,500 gift boxes for ophans in Sri-Lanka for Christmas
  • Purchased 2 nipperboards for Adam Roberts and the nipper rippers of South Curly Surf Club
  • Competed in the SurfAid surfing contest whilst raising $5,298 for the SurfAid charity
helping make much needed changes to small villages in Indonesia…..and the list goes
    on!

Whilst our 60-year celebration may now be over, giving back to our community is a very important part of who we are as a firm and how we operate on an ongoing basis. We recognise the importance of a strong local economy and a positive and cohesive local community and will most definitely continue to engage in future community initiatives.

If you have an initiative close to your heart and would like us to help, please contact us. We have a formal process for assessing all requests and will do our best to support our community wherever possible.
