If you’re a  commercial or residential  landowner who has reduced  your tenants’ rent due to COVID-19, between 1 July 2021 and 31 December 2021, you may be eligible for the NSW Government’s land tax relief. 

NSW to expand the JobSaver turnover threshold and increase maximum payments as Greater Sydney prepares for another four weeks of lockdown.

The 2021 COVID-19 Micro-Business Grant provides fortnightly payments to NSW micro-businesses (small business, sole traders or not-for-profits) impacted by recent COVID-19 restrictions. Applications close 18 October 2021.

JobSaver will provide cash flow support to impacted businesses to help maintain their NSW employee headcount on 13 July. The program objective is to help businesses save jobs to support the economy after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Applications close 18 October 2021.

The government has imposed further restrictions from 18 July 2021 which will impact businesses in the Greater Sydney area, including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour. The eligibility for the 2021 COVID-19 business grant has been released and is expected to be open for registrations until 13 September. We summarise important points to consider before compiling an application.

NSW COVID-19 business grants open 19 July 2021. If you’re a business, sole trader or not-for-profit organisation impacted by the current Greater Sydney COVID-19 restrictions, you may be able to apply for a grant of up to $15,000 from 19 July.

New COVID-19 support measures available from next week will provide eligible NSW businesses with a minimum of $1,500 and a maximum of $10,000 per week. Use the lead time to get your paperwork in order.

Businesses will be able to apply for COVID19 support grants from later in July. Applicants will require an accountant’s prepared declaration as part of the process. We will release further updates on eligibility requirements as information is released by NSW Treasury.
